The Mary Diana Samuel Foundation was founded in 1998 by Dr. Aaron Samuel and his wife, Nalini. The Samuels, members of First UMC Cleveland, built The Mary Diana Samuel Home For Girls in Tiruvallur, Chennai India in memory of their daughter. The home provides a safe place to live for 75 young girls who receive food, shelter, education and health care in a Christ centered home. While there, they learn about the God who loves them so much.  There are 7 full time workers who cook, garden and are house parents to the girls.

Each February a team goes to visit the Mary Diana Samuel Home and stays in the guest house. The ones who go, fall in love with the girls. This is one of the ministries that our church family supports in many ways.  We hope to change the story for each of these girls.
