7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
At First United Methodist Child Development Center (CDC) we strive to provide a balanced program that will further the emotional, social, mental, spiritual, and physical development of each child.
Our program is a church related program – ministry and we strive through actions and teachings to give our children basic Christian concepts. We want the children to feel and experience God’s love.
Our staff has concern and love for children. Our staff is trained in CPR and First Aid. They also continue to grow professionally through training and workshops in the child development field.
We use the Wee Learn Curriculum for ages 2 and up. This curriculum has a theme for the month that encompasses many learning activities and concepts, as well as Bible verses and Bible thoughts. The children also attend a 30 minute music or Bible story time each day.
We provide juice and snack twice a day. We provide milk for lunch. Lunches are brought from home.
